Hello my fellow Randomers!
I hope you are all well and enjoying the festive season! I know we are all getting very excited about Christmas day here in the Random Household!
One of the best things about writing a blog is the connecting and networking with other bloggers. I’ve made new friends this year through social networking and going to events and it’s been so much fun. One of my new friends is the lovely Ffion who writes over at A South Wales Blog. We decided a few months ago that it would be really exciting to do a little Christmas Box Swap! We set a budget of £15 to allow for posting costs and this is what she came up with!
I can not stress how excited I get when I receive things in the post be it a small parcel or a letter it’s always lovely knowing that others are thinking about you enough to send something in the post. In an age of technology and instant messaging it really is the thought that counts when my letter box rattles!
What do you think to the goodies I’ve received! I’m really excited to try out the mascara as it’s dermatologically tested so should be fine with my sensitive eyes and I love the cute bear in a bag; he’s now sitting very happily on my Christmas tree! If you would like to see what I bought for the lovely Ffion click here and let me know what you think!
Merry Random Christmas!
Carla

What a lovely idea! Great gifts too!
I know, I am so chuffed! x
What a lovely idea. It’s really lovely to get a box of gifts from your secret santa isn’t it. You got some really nice things. #sundaystars
It was so much fun to do too
We did the same! A group of us sent some gifts and it was lovely!! 🙂 Thanks for sharing on #sundaystars Jess xx
It’s been so much fun. I’ve seen lots of the posts on the box swaps! x
This box swap thing sounds really nice. We were supposed to do a secret santa gift swap at work but that kind of fell through. Looks like, not enough people signed up to draw lots. Guess the old ways of writing down names on torn pieces of paper and pulled out of a bag, works best. Oh well. Glad you enjoyed the swaps.
Oh that’s a shame! 🙁
This is such a lovely idea! I want to do something similar with a friend who knows me well, like over the period of 6 months spend like £100 on each other and swap!
